Are you unbanked or under-banked? Do you rely on alternative financial services—such as payday loans, check cashing services, money orders and pawn shop loans—to take care of your finances?  These services charge high fees that can be avoided. Join a Savings & Credit Building Learning Circle at a Library near you, and learn about the financial benefits and security you can receive by beginning or building a relationship with your bank.  NEW IMMIGRANTS WELCOME

A Learning Circle is highly interactive; the goal is to build and share knowledge through open dialogue and reflection around financial challenges with a focus on a shared outcome.

Participants meet weekly in small groups for 1.5 hours for six consecutive weeks, and also have the opportunity to meet individually, at no cost, with a Financial Coach.

Topics covered include benefits of banking, online banking, identifying fraud, and credit building. Each participant that is able to build and maintain a savings account of $250 over the course of 3- 5 months receives a $250 bonus match from Liberty Bank.
